Digital Menu Boards & QR Menus in Ottawa

Menu screens above the counter and the menu on your customer's phone, built and run as one system so they can never disagree. We supply the displays, the players, the install and the menu design, and we price the whole thing 35 to 40 percent under the ranges the signage vendors publish, because we are not reselling somebody else's subscription back to you.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a digital menu board cost in Ottawa?

The published market range for an installed indoor screen runs roughly $1,000 to $4,000 once the display, the player, the mount, the install and the menu design are counted. We price the same scope 35 to 40 percent under that. Our full line-by-line breakdown, including a worked three-screen example, is in our guide to the true cost of digital menu boards.

Do I have to buy the screens from you?

No. If you already have displays on the wall we will use them, and the project drops to the players, the menu design and the software. If you do want us to supply the hardware, we source it at trade cost and pass it through at 35 to 40 percent under the published retail range rather than marking it up.

Can I change a price myself, or do I have to call you?

You change it yourself, from a phone, and every screen and the QR menu update together. Training is part of the handover. We are there if you would rather we made seasonal changes for you, but you are never locked into paying us to change a price.

Do you do QR menus as well as screens?

Yes, and most restaurants should do both. The screens sell to the person already in the room; the QR and web menu is what shows up in Google when someone two blocks away searches for what you serve. They run off the same content here, so updating one updates the other.

What happens to the boards if the internet goes down?

The players hold the current menu locally and keep playing it. You lose the ability to push a change until the connection returns, not the menu itself. A board that goes black during a lunch rush because the Wi-Fi dropped is a configuration choice, and not one we make.

Can you beat a quote I already have from a signage company?

Yes, and that is the usual way these projects start. Send us the written quote, we match the scope line for line, and we come back under it in writing. If we cannot beat it honestly we will tell you to take their offer.
